Media for Ministry is proud to be supporting both financially and through equipment/services a first conference of its kind in the UK, MENTAL HEALTH AND CHRISTIANITY CONFERENCE.

The Mental Health and Christianity Conference brings together three Christian denominations, as well as several agencies, consultants and Media for Ministry. It’s an exploration of how our spiritual wellbeing affects our mental wellbeing, and vice versa.

We’re so excited to see this event come to life in May 2022! It will be a day full of reflection, inspiration and networking. There’ll be workshops, with a keynote speech by Dr Tasia Scrutton, Associate Professor at the University of Leeds specialising in Mental Health and Religion. For just £12 you will receive lunch and refreshments, a full day of input and reflection. There may even be even some goodies at the end!

The event will take place at Wesley Hall, Crookes, Sheffield, S10 1UD. But as part of our commitment on inclusivity and reaching as many as we can, as well as our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, we will be livestreaming parts of the day too! Tickets are available for £12 if attending in-person (including lunch and refreshments). Livestreaming tickets are free but we welcome donations for helping to continue facilitating this element. Concession tickets for Under-18s and the unemployed are £5. If there is going to be a financial constraint on you coming to the conference (concession or otherwise), please get in touch.

Livestreaming, you say?

The Media for Minstry team will be on-site delivering the livestreaming of the worship, keynotes and some workshops. If you’ve read this far down it’s because you know that when that happens, quality is produced. So even if you’re not Sheffield/Yorkshire based, do sign up for a livestream ticket, it’s non-obligation, and you can dip in and out of the day as you see fit!

Wow, this sounds amazing! Where do I sign up?
